During the Black Friday shopping frenzy, a Wal-Mart employee was trampled to death as thousands of shoppers rushed into the store. This crowd was so large and so anxious to get into the store they broke the door down, literally.

The Wal-Mart store located in New York just 20 miles east of Manhattan had about 2,000 people waiting in line before their 5 a.m. opening. “This crowd was out of control,” a witness said. He described the scene as “utter chaos,” and said the store didn’t have enough security.
